PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING

Sending, via email, informative communications (‘newsletters’) to those who, by providing their email address in the form, made an express request to receive them.

Performance of a contract to which the data subject is party.

RETENTION TIME OF DATA

Collected data (email address) will be stored until a request to unsubscribe is made.
Once unsubscribed from this service, personal data will be deleted or anonymised.

Marketing purposes: this includes promotional/commercial communication regarding services/products offered by the Company, information about company events, client satisfaction surveys, market surveys and statistical analyses. Marketing may occur through automated methods such as SMS, MMS, email, social networks and instant messaging or traditional methods such as phone calls and direct mail.

Consent is voluntary and revocable at any time.

Pursuant to Article 13, paragraph 2, letter e) of the GDPR, we kindly inform you that it is mandatory to provide us with your email address for the abovementioned purposes. If you do not provide us with your email address, we will not be able to send you our newsletter.

RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA

Data can be processed by persons acting as Data Controllers (including supervisory and control authorities alongside any public or private entity authorised to request data).
Moreover, data can be processed on behalf of the Company by external persons designated as Data processors with appropriate operating instructions. These persons generally belong to the following categories:
⦁ Companies that offer email sending services;
⦁ Call centres;
⦁ Companies that offer services aimed at fulfilling purposes mentioned in this information note, such as media agencies or IT suppliers.

PERSONS AUTHORISED TO PROCESS DATA

Data can be processed by employees – who have been expressly authorised and who have received appropriate operating instructions – who have been charged with carrying out the Company’s instructions as mentioned above.

TRANSFERRING PERSONAL DATA TO COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION

Data can be transferred abroad to non-EU countries, namely to the USA. The USA is a country where the level of data protection has been considered adequate by the European Commission pursuant to Article 45 of the (Privacy Shield).

RIGHTS OF THE PERSONS CONCERNED – RIGHT TO LODGE A COMPLAINT WITH A SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY

If the processing of data is based on consent or on a contract and it has been completed through automated tools, persons concerned have the right to receive their data in a structured format, of common usage and readability, on an automated device. In addition to this, if it is technically feasible, they are allowed to transfer them to another person concerned.

Persons concerned have the right to revoke their consent at any time for marketing purposes and to refuse the processing of their personal data for the same reasons, including profiling activities related to direct marketing activities.

Persons concerned have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the member state in which they normally live or work, within the country where this alleged infringement took place.
